MUMBAI: The Nationalist Congress Celebration (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar has taken the initiative in 
Maharashtra to amend the state agriculture legal guidelines to guard the pursuits of the farmers and guarantee its approval within the upcoming monsoon session of the state Meeting scheduled on July 5.

Pawar had referred to as a gathering at his residence on Wednesday that was attended by state agriculture minister Dada Bhuse, senior Congress minister Balasaheb Thorat, advertising and marketing federation minister Balasaheb Patil and minister of state Vishwajit Kadam.

“We need to amend the state agriculture legislation as we really feel that the Union authorities’s agriculture legal guidelines should not within the curiosity of farmers. The proposed amendments will make sure the safety of Agriculture Produce Advertising Committees (APMCs), redressal of grievances of farmers and safety of the pursuits of agriculturists throughout the crop commerce amongst others. The state authorities led by Uddhav Thackeray had determined to not implement the Centre’s three farm legal guidelines due to opposition by the farmers.  Thorat mentioned the federal government is dedicated to the event of the farmers. “Senior chief and former agriculture minister Sharad Pawar has given some solutions for drafting the farm legal guidelines. We have now studied the Central farm legal guidelines. The farmer pursuits are paramount to us,” Thorat mentioned.
