Senior India defender Sandesh Jhingan was on Wednesday named the AIFF males’s Footballer of the Yr, whereas midfielder Suresh Singh Wangjam was picked because the Rising Participant for 2020-21 season.
It’s the first time that the towering central defender has acquired the AIFF Participant of the Yr award, having received the Rising Participant of the Yr Award in 2014.
