The Wieners Circle in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood tweeted a surveillance video displaying a person standing and not using a masks within the restaurant on Wednesday. The person begins what appears to be a verbal change with an worker who will not be seen within the video.

The person turns to exit the shop, picks up snow from beneath a pink picnic desk, re-enters and throws the snow towards within the course of the off-camera worker. The person exits for a second time, will get extra snow and re-enters, operating towards the counter and reaching over-the-counter as he throws the snow on the worker. The person exits once more.

“He got here again with a brick and shattered our door,” the restaurant stated in a tweet. Exterior surveillance video captures a person throwing the thing at The Wieners Circle after which operating away.

Chicago police instructed CNN the individual will not be in custody, and that they’re investigating what occurred.

“An unknown offender entered a restaurant and tried to order meals. The male offender was requested to placed on a face masks when he turned irate and opened the door of the restaurant and threw snow on the retailer affiliate. The offender then fled in car and returned and threw an unknown object on the entrance door inflicting the entrance door glass to interrupt.”

CNN has reached out to The Wieners Circle for a remark. The restaurant stated in a tweet that the door was fastened Thursday.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker introduced Wednesday he would raise the state’s masks mandate starting February 28, if the decline in Covid-19 hospitalizations continues.

“We are actually seeing the quickest charge of decline in our COVID-19 hospitalization metrics for the reason that pandemic started,” Pritzker stated in his announcement.
