NEW DELHI: The BJP’s Kerala unit on Tuesday sought an inquiry into the latest incident in Jhansi wherein 4 nuns, together with two postulants, had been attacked by Bajrang Dal members whereas they had been travelling by practice to their houses at Rourkela in Odisha.

Condemning the incident, Kerala BJP basic secretary George Kurian wrote a letter to celebration colleague and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath searching for an inquiry into the matter and demanding punishment for the “overzealous people”, together with police personnel who harassed the nuns.
