Intel AI centre at work on instruments to chop highway mishaps – ETtech


Intel is engaged on options to cut back highway accidents and improve its datasets for driving situations in India at its synthetic intelligence analysis centre, in collaboration with the federal government and IIIT-Hyderabad, its nation head informed ET.

Intel India has arrange an utilized AI analysis centre collectively with the Telangana state authorities, Worldwide Institute of Info Know-how (IIIT), Hyderabad, and Public Well being Basis of India (PHFI). The analysis centre would deal with picture recognition classification and healthcare knowledge processing, Rai stated.

Intel and IIIT-Hyderabad collaborated to construct the world’s first open dataset of driving situations in India and launched it globally in 2018.

The analysis centre will increase driving dataset and decide functions in Indian context. The dataset can alert drivers about highway situations to cut back accidents.
