Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Saturday condoled the demise of veteran Punjabi actor Satish Kaul (76), who handed away in a non-public hospital at Ludhiana. In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Kaul as a flexible actor, who performed a pivotal position within the promotion of Punjabi cinema, artwork and tradition.
“Being a staunch votary of Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiyat, Kaul can be ever remembered by every person for his huge contribution for making Punjabi cinema common amongst the folks,” added the CM.
Satish Kaul, who featured in a number of Hindi movies and reveals together with BR Chopra’s Mahabharat, handed away on Saturday as a result of COVID-19 associated issues. He was 74.
