SHERATHANG (Sikkim): The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) rescued 17 vacationers stranded in Sikkim’s Sherathang space.
The rescue mission was carried out by the forty eighth Battalion of ITBP on Tuesday at 13,500 ft.
In accordance with ITBP, three vacationer autos with 17 vacationers have been stranded close by Sherathang resulting from heavy snowfall.
“The vacationers consisted of three youngsters, 4 girls and 10 males. Medical assist was offered to girls and a toddler who have been feeling sick,” ITBP stated
“The rescue operation began on Tuesday night and the vacationers have been evacuated by 10 pm,” it added.
