Sporadic incidents of violence and bogus voting in Kannur

KANNUR:  Regardless of the improved safety preparations, some remoted incidents of election violence and bogus voting have been nonetheless reported from many locations within the district. At Taliparamba, UDF candidate V P Abdul Rasheed was manhandled at a sales space at Kadamberi. At Kuttiattur, CPM employees sprayed water laced with chilli on UDF sales space agent Shamsuddin for making an attempt to cease bogus voting by CPM employees. In Payyannur, two UDF sales space have been overwhelmed up by CPM activists.  One particular person was taken into custody by the police for bogus voting on Tuesday.
