ANKARA: A Turkish Air Pressure aerobatic jet crashed in central Turkey on Wednesday, killing its pilot, Turkey’s defence ministry stated. The NF-5-type jet belonging to the Turkish Stars aerobatic crew, went down throughout coaching, close to the city of Karatay, within the central province of Konya.
The ministry stated that the reason for the crash was underneath investigation. Addressing members of his ruling occasion shortly after the crash, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated he was deeply saddened by the information and led a quick, silent Muslim prayer for the deceased pilot.
