BALLIA: Two individuals have been arrested on Wednesday for allegedly killing a girl for dowry in Uttar Pradesh’s Revati space, police mentioned.

The physique of Rekha (22) was discovered hanging from the ceiling of her room on Tuesday, mentioned SHO, Revti, Yadvendra Pandey.

An FIR was registered towards the sufferer’s husband Bhola Sahni, brother-in-law Sonu and his spouse Chunni Devi primarily based on a criticism by Rekha’s father Durga Chowdhury, he mentioned.

Sonu and Devi have been arrested for harassing and killing Rekha for dowry, the SHO mentioned.
