West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard on Wednesday introduced that his father has died, saying that “I do know you might be in a greater place”. Taking to Instagram, Pollard shared a few footage of him and his father together with one with a Mumbai Indians jersey, posing with the IPL 2019 winners’ trophy. Pollard captioned the put up as, “peacefully and gracefully .. #loveyoualways. Touched many hearts and souls. Will proceed to make you proud. No extra “tall boy”. I do know you might be in a greater place. #blessedandthankful”.
Former India batsman Sachin Tendulkar mourned the loss of life of Pollard‘s father and shared his deepest condolences. “Simply received to know in regards to the demise of your father @KieronPollard55. My deepest condolences to you & all your loved ones members on this hour of grief. Could God provide the energy to beat this loss,” Tendulkar tweeted.
Windies white-ball skipper was final seen in motion within the limited-overs sequence towards Sri Lanka. Within the coming days, Pollard will be part of his franchise Mumbai Indians for the 14th version of the IPL.
IPL 2021 will likely be held in India throughout six venues from April 9. Defending champions Mumbai Indians will tackle Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Chennai within the match opener.
