New Delhi: 13 labourers have been injured after a tin shed fell on them throughout a maintainance work at a thermal energy plant in Uttar Pradesh this morning.
The incident passed off throughout a maintainance work on boiler unit in Lanco Anpara Energy Restricted located in Sonbhadra district, which is about 350 kms from state capital Lucknow.
Whereas eight of them have been discharged after receiving first-aid, 5 others are present process therapy on the hospital.
“13 labourers have been injured after a tin shed fell throughout upkeep work at LANCO thermal energy plant in Anpara, Sonebhadra, right now morning. Out of the 13 labourers, 5 with critical accidents admitted to hospital. Eight have been discharged after medical therapy,” a police official was quoted as saying by information company ANI.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officers to offer all potential assist to these injured. “The Chief Minister took cognizance of the accident on the thermal energy plant of Lanco Firm, a personal firm in Sonbhadra, and directed the native administration that these injured ought to be correctly handled. Extra Chief Secretary Power has been requested to probe the matter and take efficient motion,” learn an announcement from the Chief Minister’s Workplace.
