ISLAMABAD: Not less than 4 paramilitary troopers have been killed in a terrorist assault on Monday in Pakistan’s restive southwestern Balochistan province.

Terrorists, utilizing an improvised explosive system, focused the Frontier Corps (FC) troops, who have been employed for the safety of Marget Mines close to provincial capital Quetta.

4 troopers together with a junior commissioned officer of FC Balochistan have been killed, in line with a press release by the military.

A big-scale space sanitisation operation by FC, Balochistan to hunt the terrorists is underway, the military stated.

Such cowardly acts backed by the ‘inimical components’ can not sabotage the hard-earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan and the safety forces have been decided to neutralise their nefarious designs, it stated.

No one took the duty of the assault however Baloch nationalists combating the safety forces have typically carried out such assaults up to now.
