NEW DELHI: Union Dwelling Minister Amit Shah on Sunday stated the federal government has ordered the deployment of Nationwide Catastrophe Response Pressure (NDRF) groups and helicopters in Uttarakhand to sort out forest fires within the state.
The house minister additionally spoke to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat and took inventory of the state of affairs arising out of the forest fires.
“I’ve spoken to Uttarakhand Chief Minister @TIRATHSRAWAT and inquired in regards to the forest fires.
To beat fires and stop lack of life and property, the central authorities has issued orders for instantly making obtainable groups of @NDRFHQ and helicopters to the federal government of Uttarakhand,” Shah stated in a tweet in Hindi.
