Poor situation of roads, primarily Kuttoth-Attakund Kadavu highway, and implementation of Kuttiyadi bypass challenge. 

LDF MLAs who represented the seat (earlier Meppayur) for round 5 a long time are accountable for its underdeveloped situation. The UDF had represented it just for three phrases.

Improvement of proposed inland waterways, Kuttiyadi bypass challenge, highway growth and points in agriculture sector.
