Folks’s Celebration of Canada Chief Maxime Bernier was handcuffed and put at the back of an RCMP car after attending a rally towards COVID-19 restrictions in St-Pierre-Jolys, Man., on Friday afternoon.

Folks’s Celebration of Canada Chief Maxime Bernier was taken into police custody after attending a rally towards COVID-19 restrictions in St-Pierre-Jolys, Man., on Friday afternoon.

Radio-Canada’s Laïssa Pamou who was protecting the occasion stated Bernier had gotten into his car to depart the rally when he was pulled out by Mounties who handcuffed him and put him within the again seat of an RCMP car.
